We have multiple pricing options to fit your budget. Our premium service includes multiple treatments and a 60-day guarantee for fleas, cockroaches and bed bugs. Our standard service is a one-time comprehensive treatment that is easy on your wallet. For Instance a 3-bedroom house treated for bed bugs will cost $300 for a one time treatment OR you can get the premium service for $600 and that includes a 60-day guarantee and up to 4 treatments total. Flea treatments, up to about 2,000 square feet, are $150 for a one-time treatment or $300 for the premium service that comes with the 60-day guarantee and up to 4 treatments.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

It's very difficult to accurately price pest control jobs with the limited criteria that Thumbtack provides. Once you contact me I will always ask more questions to determine the actual cost to you. For instance, my hornet nest removal service starts at $100 for a small nest at ground level. Two-story nests start at $200 and go up depending on many factors.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Gathering information over the phone followed by an in person inspection.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Years of experience, plus formal education and training through Purdue extension.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I worked at a family owned pest control business before branching out on my own. Yard Guardian is new to pest control but I am not.

Customers from all walks of life.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I did a perimeter barrier spray for a customer who also needed three wasp nests taken down. When I arrived at the property initially the customer showed me the wasp nests. After seeing them I told her immediately that the nests were inactive and I would be happy to knock them down free of charge. I never try to sell people on services they don't need.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Hire someone who is knowledgeable, friendly and informative. If your pest control service doesn’t try to educate you on prevention then find someone else. If they try to sell you on services you don't need then find someone else.
